Add up your data before buying drives

Cloud quotas behave the same way

A 2 TB cloud plan is 2,000 GB decimal; the desktop sync client will show it as 1.81 TiB and may report “out of space” when your local folder reaches that size. If you are within 5% of a quota, sync in decimal GB terms — that is what the provider bills against.
